ABOUT US

As per the Ordinance by Govt.of Kerala for confined a Primary Co-operative Agricultural & Rural Development Bank in each Taluk on 2011 Cochin Co-operative Agricultural & Rural Development Bank was bifurcated and a New Bank registered at Thalappilly Taluk on 15.02.2012 and stared functioning on 16.02.2012.As per the scheme Assets and Liabilties are also divided .
Area of operation of the Thalappilly CARD Bank is within Thalappilly Taluk consisting of 74 villages.
Thalappilly Taluk is in Thrissur district, where the famous Kerala Kalamandalm, Vazhani dam, Poomala dam and Villwadrinatha temple are situated.The famous “Kuthambully Kaitharies” is also situated in this Taluk.

SUCCESS STORIES:

In 2012 the Bank has started functioning with Loan outstanding of Rs.45 Crores and now its become the highest loan outstanding in Thrissur region with Rs.164.crores and 70% of recovery.Started with one Branch of 74 villages and now we have 3 Branches at Wadakkanchery,Chelakkara and Kunnamkulam.We are leading for Loan disbursement for the last 5 years in Thrissur Region.
We had won 1st place in State level for Deposit Mobilization in the year 2015.
This Bank has been one among ten Banks in Kerala,which have given more loans while the state was engulfed by the flood.It is upholding its social commitment by finding the needy farmers and laymen across the taluk and supporting them with providing loans.The fact that the PCARD Bank in the row of Banks in Thrissur district having more loan outstanding can be positively considered as a proof of this commitment
