Chavakkad Co.Op-Agricultural and Rual Development Bank has bifurcated from Cochin Co.op-Agricultural and Rural Develpoment Bank Ltd No.R 329 as per Government ordinance in 31.10.2011 and Registered on 15.02.2012 and started functioning on the same day. The main objective of this organaisation is to provide the long term Agricultural Credit to the farmers of Chavakkad Taluk availing refinance from NABARD through Kerala State Co.Op.Agricultural and Rural Development Bank. The Bank is situated in the fomous pilgrim centre Guruvayur, Opposite Private Bus Stand. The Bank has a branch at Triprayar which is located in front of the famous Sree Rama Temple, Triprayar.

Success stories :

The Bank started function with a loan outstanding of 9 crores at the time of bifurcation. Now the loan outstanding is 5358.75 crore. We have started a new Branch at Triprayar. The number of members is 8194 as on 31.03.2019. The overdue percentage is 13% lesser than that of previous year. It is a remarkable thing in the present scenario.
