The name of that bank is Chalakudy Taluk Primary co-operative Agricultural and Rural Development Bank LTD.R-1452. The head of the bank situated in Thrissur district Chalakudy Taluk, Chalakudy village with in Chalakudy post office.
The area of operation of the bank shall be contained to the entire revenue Taluk of Chalakudy.
The first director board came in to existence on 23.10.2018 through the general body meeting conducted by Joint Registrar Thrissur as per the judgment of Kerala high court.

The authorized share capital of the bank shall be Rs.7,90,00000 being the value of 7,90,000 Aclass shares worth Rs100/- each. Rs.10,00,000 Being the value of 50000/- Bclass share holder shall not have voting right.
Any person who have attained the age of 18 years residing within the area of operation of the bank who owns agricultural land or is having any kind of cultivation and socities as prescribed under section 46 of Kerala Agricultural and Rural Development Bank act shall be eligible to the member.

SUCCESS STORIES:

Chalakudy Taluk Primary Co-operative Agricultural and Rural Development Bank registered on 28.12.2015 through the bifurcation of Iringalakuda Co-operative Agricultural and Rural Development Bank. During the year 2019-2020 the lending achievement of the bank was 34.2 crores. During the year 2019-2020 the percentage of overdue is 12.45. The overdue percentage increased due to the declaration of demonetarization, flood 2018 and Covid 19 during the year. The overdue percentage as on 31-03-2020 is 12.45%.
